This Day in The Beatles

It seems that a good amount of Beatles-related things happened on October 9. From This Day Day in Music History:

1940: John Lennon was born.

1965: “Yesterday” started a four-week run at the top the U.S. singles chart.

1975: Sean Lennon, John and Yoko’s only child, was born.

1985: Yoko opens Strawberry Fields to honor John in New York City’s Central Park.

2008: Paul McCartney reportedly lashed out at McDonald’s for using his picture in an ad. McCartney is a vegetarian.
