The Chemical Brothers: “Go”

Here is a nice song and a really cool video from The Chemical Brothers. It’s called “Go.” I may be off base, but it reminds me a bit of Kraftwerk.

The band’s website is pretty odd. Intriuging, but I think I am too old to like it.

The Wikipedia profile of the band (now that’s a website with which I can deal) says that the principals of The Chemical Brothers are Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons. The band formed in 1991 and has won four Grammy awards.

The profile says that the duo are “pioneers at bringing the big beat genre to the forefront of pop culture.” The Chemical Brothers have had five number one albums and 13 top 20 singles and two number one singles in its native Great Britain.

The Grateful Dead don't get enough credit for the profound nature of its lyrics.
