This Day in Music reports that today is the 50th birthday of Edie Brickell. Brickell, who is married to Paul Simon, had a big hit with “What I Am,” which she recorded with The New Bohemians. Below is “Good Times.”
Sometimes, in researching artists for this site, I run across somebody and only then realize how terrific they are. It’s always a pleasant surprise. Edie Brickell is one such case. Everything she does is enjoyable.
