Musicians of all stripes, when asked about their influences, put cite gospel high on the list. It is a cornerstone of American music.
It feels sometimes odd to post it because it is religious and highly personal. I feel almost as if I am eavesdropping. But this joyous music should be seen and enjoyed by all.
