Sílvia Pérez Cruz is a Spanish singer who my daughter likes very much. Indeed, the photo for this post (which is somewhere on the home page) is the two of them after Cruz’s recent performance in New York City.
The song in the video is called “Veinte años,” which even I know means “Twenty Years.” I think my daughter said that the guitar player is Cruz’s dad. If so, this is a real father/daughter post. Here are the lyrics to the song.
I like the song very much. The idea of just starting to perform in the middle of a restaurant while life goes on around you is great — and very nicely recorded here. I wouldn’t suggest doing this in New York City, but you never know. It might work out there, too.
