The owner of one of the great nicknames in jazz would have been 95 today. Above are Cleanhead Blues and Old Maid Boogie. The cuts were on a 1986 album by Vinson and Etta James, which is pictured. I’m not sure if these are the versions that were on the album.
Vinson died in 1988.
