Travelin’ Shoes

I took a couple of days off and went with the family to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It’s a terrific getaway for folks in the mid-Atlantic states.

As usual, vacations are busier than work, so I didn’t have time to do a proper post. I wanted to throw something up on the site, and searched YouTube using the phrase “traveling shoes.” The video above was one of the first choices.

Though the singers aren’t named and it refers to vacations of the permanent variety, the video is too good not to feature. Here is a very different version of the song by Madeline Thompson & the Ward Singers.

The stories of the great bands and musicians are fascinating. Musicians as a group are brilliant, but often troubled. The combination of creativity and drama makes for great reading.
