Tony Thomas, a good friend of the site, sent this clip of Sturgill Simpson.

Writes Thomas: “Simpson has had a slow-to-develop but ever-more-successful career. He was a self-described songwriting hobbyist, who eventually self-fundied/released his debut. Attention from the music press greeted his small-label sophomore effort. The linked song is from a grammy-winning, major-label third disc. He’s evolved towards the Alt-Country direction, and got some attention for an interesting cover of Nirvana’s “In Bloom”.
