According to This Day in Music, Willie Dixon was born on this day in 1915.
This great clip is “Weak Brain and a Narrow Mind.” If anyone knows who introduces Dixon, please let me know. Here is more on Dixon, who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. He died in 1992.
It would be great if halls of fame would work to induct people who deserve recognition while they are around to enjoy it. I’m sure Dixon didn’t get any better during the first two years that he was gone.
