I have been meaning to post this for a while. One of my favorite clips that I’ve used at The Daily Music Break is Bert Jansch’s version of the song “Angie,” which also goes by the name “Angi.”
I found out that it is a very important song that was written by influential British folk guitarist Davy Graham. It was released in 1962.
Graham’s version is above. It’s a beautiful song and, to this untrained eye, appears quite difficult to play. Here is more on Graham.
